We should revive mosque activities
Shabestan news agency: Cultural, educational and research adviser of Namaz committee said that Fajar ten days of Islamic revolution should be revival of mosque activities.
Shabestan news agency reported that Mansoor Sargazi in third meeting of the committee said that one such committee was required for the mosque and with the help of Allah we successful made it happen.
He said that we will discuss our progress in these meetings and common thinking should be brought into notice.
He said that documenting the activities of the committee is one of the important task. He said that our activities should be same in energy after these ten days. He said that we have seventy thousand mosques and forty present of it do not have prayer leaders.
Dahe-ye Fajr is ten days of dawn i.e. dawning of new age, is a ten-day celebration of Ruhollah Khomeini's return to Iran in 1979. The annual celebrations last from 1 to 11 February. The start of the celebration coincides with the date of Ruhollah Khomeini's arrival and the ending with Revolution's victory, a day which is called Islamic Revolution's Victory Day or 22 of Bahman.
On the first of February 1979, Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Tehran after a period of being exiled by Muhammad Reza Pahlavi to France.
Ayatollah Khomeini choose Mehdi Bazargan as prime minister of interim government.
Iran air force officers went to Khomeini's home and promised their loyalty to the revolution.
People were armed by the revolutionary personnel of the air force. In this day a curfew was announced by Bakhtiar's government but Ruhollah Khomeini disparaged it and said people had to break it.
Senior military commanders announced that they were neutral in conflict between Bakhtiar's government and revolutionaries. Thus, they receded from the streets. Bakhtiar resigned and went to Paris. Revolutionaries gained a victory in this day.
