The philosophy of Ruler in an Islamic society, as directed by Islam
Shabestan news agency: Imam Reza A.S. narrated that “the world has not seen any successful nation or sect that has attained a strong and sustainable position without a powerful leader. Therefore people are bound to follow a leader to live a life according to faith and social norms.
Shabestan news agency reported that formation of a government of Islam is a necessity in the Islam and in the religion of Shia. Without Islamic governance the social, political, traditional, economical, sovereignty and military security infrastructure will collapse, even the individual and religious living of people will suffer greatly. The orders of Islam could not hold their position if the writ of power is not in correspondence with them.
Historians and keen eye witnesses have clarified the importance of this power therefore, right after migrating from Mekka, the holy Prophet SAWW established an Islamic governance in Madina city.
Imam Reza A.S. said that the world has not seen any successful nation or sect that has attained a strong and sustainable position without a powerful leader. Therefore people are bound to “choose and make a leader to follow and live a life according to their faith and social norms. Without him general population could not function their lives in discipline.
A just ruler is one of the key obligation in the religion of Islam. This is the top most important obligations that the religion directs Muslims to follow. The Islam enforces people to find a just and upright leader to lead the nation.
Imam Sadiq A.S narrated that people in every city require three important things in their lives according to their faith, social structure and to get benefit in the hereafter, if they do not have these three things then they are bound to suffer from mayhem and chaos in all three aspects of life. The people require pious and jurisconsult, a knowledge bearer leader whom people can follow, and a trustworthy doctor.
Imam Reza A.S. said that if people were not divinely bestowed upon a powerful, trustworthy, protective and just Imam and leader, the religion would have destroyed into bits and pieces. If this happens, the directions of Allah and the actions of Prophet SAWW suffer distortions. People invent innovations, and heretics design nonexistence and as a result the Muslims suffer from doubts and confusions.
