Police disperse Nigerian 'Free Zakzaky' protest in Abuja

Shabestan news agency:The protesters marched through the streets with placards but were dispersed by the police who fired teargas and water cannons as they made their way towards the headquarters of the National Human Rights Commission, Channelstv reported.

Presidential candidate presents quit letter to interior ministry
Shabestan news agency:According to the law, any of the presidential candidates ,in case of withdrawing, must announce their will for quitting the campaign in the form of an official written letter either themselves or by their plenipotentiary representatives to the Ministry of the Interior.

Jahangiri had publicly announced, releasing a statement on Tuesday, he had quitted and would do his best to support Hassan Rouhani for reelection in the upcoming presidential election on May 19.
