International: Minister of Islamic Affairs of Mauritania said that the preaching of extremism is prohibited from the mosques.

According to the report of Shabestan News Agency Iran, the minister of Islamic affairs of Mauritania said that we will not allow the mosques to preach extremism in the local public through the sermons.

Mauritania is an Arab country in the Maghreb region of western Africa. It is the eleventh largest country in Africa and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Western Sahara in the north, Algeria in the northeast, Mali in the east and southeast, and Senegal in the southwest. The country derives its name from the ancient Berber Kingdom of Mauretania, which existed from the 3rd century BC to the 7th century, in the far north of modern-day Morocco.

Ahmad bin Dawood said that it is not appropriate to use mosque for the political and personal purposes. If anyone did this then government will take the strict actions against it. He said we developed the Islamic morality chart after a lot of planning and hard work. We suggest each and every mosque in Mauritania to stick to this plan. He advised the people that we should not use the mosques for our personal and political purposes.
