Four people were killed in Qatif province of Saudi Arabia.
International: four people were executed to death in a Shia majority province Qatif in Saudi Arabia

According to the news of Shabestan news Agency Iran, interior ministry of Saudi Arabia executed the four Shia people in the province Qatif of Saudi Arabia. The interior ministry holds these people accountable for the rebellion against the Saudi Shah. In the press release they publish the name of four people. The names are Abdul Abdul Raheem, Yousuf Ali Abdul, Mehdi Muhammad Hassan and Amjad.

It should be noted that Qatif is the only province in Saudi Arabia which has Shia majority. The government usually attacked the people of this province. The government always targets the people of this province and deprives the people from the basic facilities only because they belong to specific school of thought.

Approximately 60,000 Shiites (estimate of 1969) live in the oasis town of Qatif, which is about 65 km (40 mi) from the main Saudi refinery. The Shiites have participated in all the strikes and other political demonstrations that have taken place in the kingdom. The most significant were the 1979 strikes when the Saudi armed forces were called in.
