According to the report of Shabestan News Agency Iran, the secretary of United state James Norman Mattis said that we have not enough evidence to declare the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. So we can’t confirm his death.
James Norman Mattis (born September 8, 1950) is the 26th and current US secretary of defense serving in the Trump administration. Mattis is a retired US general who previously served as the 11th Commander of United State command and was responsible for American military operations in the Middle East, Northeast Africa, and Central Asia, from August 11, 2010, to March 22, 2013.
He said that if we had information about the death then we will declare it but right now it is not possible.
The U.S defense secretary said that probably he is alive that’s why we are not confirming it.
It should be noted that the Russian foreign minister said quite confidently that they had killed the leader of ISIS.
