International Desk: Human right groups of Canada have demanded to ban sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia.

Shabestan news agency has reported with reference of Al-Jazeera that Human right groups of Canada and opposition has demanded from government to ban the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia. It is noteworthy that this demand has come forward at such time when reports about the usage of Canadian weapons against Shiites of Qatif have been published.

It seems from pictures published on social media that Saudi government is using Canadian made weapons and armored vehicles to crush Shiites of Qatif.

It is noteworthy that at present, Saudi Arabia is second largest buyer of Canadian weapon but it is facing serious criticism due to the violation of human rights.
