Shabestan news agency has reported from “Al Qartas news” that a Turkish historian Hajji Muhammad Ozbuk have written an article which was published in a Turkish magazine. In this article, he has expressed that in early twentieth century Masjid-e-Nabawi was provided electricity.
This Turkish historian while continuing his statement regarding Ottoman government said that first time after invention of electricity, during the rule of Ottoman King Abdul Hameed the second, Masjid Un-Nabawi in Holy Medina city was provided with electricity.
He added that in the year 1880, when electricity was invented then afterwards in 1908 first time electricity was placed inside Masjis un-Nabawi.
This Turkish historian also states that the second greatest act of this ottoman King was that he has laid down a railway track from Istanbul to Holy Medina city, so to facilitate easy access to both cities.
He while explaining said that when railway track was inaugurated in Hijaz then Sultan Abdul Hameed, the second has ordered to provide An Nabawi Mosque with electricity so to facilitate the pilgrims.
