Offering of Namaz-e-Ayat followed by severe Earthquake in Birjand and Khausaf.
Shabestan News Agency: The local people offered Namaz-e-Ayat in congregation after severe Earthquake in Birjand and Khausaf.

Representative of Shabestan News agency in Birjand reported that in the morning at 2:50:32am an Earthquake with magnitude of 4.9 arise which jolted Khausaf , Birjand and surrounding areas.

The Earth trembled so hard that people of Bairjand and Khausaf stayed in the streets and parks for many hours but the moment Fajar Adan occurred people moved towards Mosques.

Officials reported that luckily there are no casualties in the incident.

What is Namaz-e-Ayat?

It is among one of the compulsory prayers which is obligatory on everyone at the time of of Solar eclipse and Lunar eclipse and also in Earthquake and also when black or red or yellow wind is blowing and when severe darkness is prevailing in Thunderstorms, fire or in any terrible fear like Earth subsidence and avalanches and in any fearful situations it is desirable to offer it except on females during menstruation and nifas.

What is the method of offering Namaz-e-Ayat?

It has 2 Rakats in every Rakat we have to bow down in Ruko 5 times. To perform it we have to first do neeiat and then say Taqbeer and then recite surah Alhamd and another surah once and then bow down in Ruko and then stand up again recite Alhamd and another surah and then bow down in ruko and then again stand up shortly perform this act 5 times and after 5th times Ruko stand and go in Qayam and perform Qayam 2 times and then stand up again and perfom second Rakat like first Rakat say Tashad and end namaz
