In order to enhance Academic Collaborations:
KANS Forum takes place in Tehran universities
Aiming to involve university students in finding scientific solutions to problems including areas of water and environment, energy, health, information technology, and economics, KANS forums held in Tehran universities attending by international scholars and two laureates of Mustafa(pbuh) Prize on December 4. The forum is exploring topics ranging from basic science to revolutionary techniques and keynote presentations from world renowned researchers.

KANS (Knowledge Application and Notion for Society) Forum, lunched by Mustafa(pbuh) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF), took place on December 4 at Sharif University of Technology, continuing with the presentation of scientific panels at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University and Iran University of Science and Technology on Health, Energy, Environment, Information and Communication Technology, Economics and Islamic Banking areas.
International scientific collaboration between the Islamic World and MSTF has held a series of Forums to debate in the topics of the Islamic World problems relying on Knowledge Application and Notion for Society.
The Mustafa(pbuh) Prize is a science and technology award of the Islamic world, awarded every 2 year to the best scholars of the Islamic world. This award is named after the Prophet of Islam(pbuh) due to his great emphasis on learning science, named after one of his titles, Mustafa(pbuh).
Meanwhile, KANS Forum is a competition amongst scholars, students and professors who present their ideas in the format of a 5-minute video clip. Therefore, the best scientific solutions to solve the problems of Islamic countries with the goals of using the capacities of the community of experts, an accumulation of works for future exploitation, raising the level of motivation and creativity of young elites, establishing a platform for the identification and exchange of scientific and technological ideas, the continuity of researchers' interaction through cyberspace and capacity building of study opportunities are selected.
