According to the reports of the Shabestan news agency has published news regarding the news agency Alnalain that the ninth international Quranic competition held in Sudan's capital Khartoum reached its end.
Sudan President Omar Al-Bashir also attended the closing ceremony of these competitions.
In these contests 73 reciters of Quran from 21 countries participated from the world.
Morocco's reciter of Quran Ahmad al-Wahid Ahmed Musheri won the first position in the competitions and prize for $ 40,000 was awarded. While Sudan's reciter of Quran Auz-ullah Al taib Muhammad Ahmed secured the second while third position in the Libyan reciter of Quran Salam Abdul salaam, and respectively worth $ 30-25,000 prize.
Sudan President Omar al-Bashir said on the occasion that we are working for the promotion of Quranic activities in Sudan so that there is no difficulty for those interested in the Holy Quran learning in this country.
It is to be noted that the International Quranic Contest in Sudan's capital Khartoum reached its end, in the closing session, Sudan president also attended it.
