Russia to develop two joint oilfields between Iran, Iraq

The role of Islamic universities in counteracting extremism.
Shabestan news: Experts believe that Islamic universities can play an important role in countering extremism in Central Asia.

According to the reports of Shabestan news agency has quoted "Uzbekistanworldnews" that Uzbekistan has established a new university in the month of January named (Uzbek Islamic Academy) in which Islamic themes will be visualized.

According to Uzbekistan's religious affairs committee, this university will focus on Islam in its curriculum, and it will support the religious and political environment in Central Asia as well as its Uzbek society.

It is worth mentioning that it is one of the most important movements against the rise of extremism and the influence of most terrorism.

 Various Islamic Universities have been established in the Central Asian countries, and in the past five decades, new institutes are also organizing in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. During these past years, many people were involved in terrorist groups in these areas.

Experts believe that Islamic universities can play an important role against the extremist ideology and development.

One research scientist of George Washington University in America Sufian Zhimukhov has said that due to lack of accurate information about Islam in Central Asia and geographical areas after the Soviet Union, our youth have been caught in the trap of extremist propaganda.
