Citizenship rights are one of the basic factors in the development of social justice and the reduction of problems and inequalities, and if people are aware of their rights, while respecting the rights of others, they will pursue their demands.
Familiarity with these concepts is necessary for all people in society and there should be a serious foundation in the acquaintance and education of people in different age groups, which should be considered from the child and should continue until different ages.
Teaching civil rights from an early age, using modern methods in mosques, has three components to increase power in order to achieve this aim, and these three pillars grow together with the focus on the cultural and artistic clubs of mosques.
Mosques and the capacity of cultural and artistic clubs in teaching civil rights
Since the issues related to civil rights are based on religious principles, mosques have an important mission in this regard, so we must use these centers.
The existence of cultural and artistic clubs in mosques and the variety of programs of these centers will be an opportunity to promote and develop these basic measures.
The presence of children and adolescents in mosques and the existence of important platforms and great function of the mosques’ cultural and artistic clubs in education and culture building will help in this field.
The establishment of a clinic for ethics and civil rights in mosques is one of the basic initiatives and actions of the Deputy Minister of Human Rights of the Ministry of Justice and mosques clubs, which has happened in the past, but its implementation requires following and presenting the plans and initiatives of the mosque clubs.
